It can be daunting being a brand new born again christian!
You're desperate to make it work, to not mess it up, to learn, to grow, to draw even closer to Jesus, and to experience more of that joy, peace and love we were promised.
The Problem is!
1, You don't know anything.
2, You don't know how or where to find out anything.
3, Everyone else seams to assume the words they use and things they say about God make perfect sense, yet it goes right over your head.
4, You don't want to embarrass yourself in-front of other christians by appearing ignorant or stupid.

In as far as why should we go to church weekly?, the question should be why should we go to that building weekly? The answer is because the CHURCH meet there, we are all of one body, yet individuality we are not the whole body but a part, a very small, yet immensely important part, no matter our gifts or talents, God uses everyone of us to effect those around us, how can God use us to strengthen his church if we avoid its members? Just because we think we’re ok and don’t need the support of other like minded people, that’s not the case for the majority, the body of Christ sustains all its parts through using the strong, the mature and the compassionate to support love and teach all those who need it, if we’re really arrogant, we can honestly believe our own hype, yet God knows our hearts, our limitations our need, and the growth we require, so that He can use us for his purposes, so why should we congregate with our brethren? So that we are fit for purpose, so that we can be used for that purpose and fulfill our obligation to serve, it’s not always, what am I going to get out of it, but rather what positive effect can I have for Jesus’s benefit.
